Placer County is having a special election for State Assemblyman. Today, because my mother-in-love is amazing, I am working a polling center from 6 am to 9 pm. I did get to come home for an hour lunch break and see 3 of my 4 kids! That was great! For the first time in a long time, I heard my kids shout "Mommy!" when I came home. Usually I am home with them so there is not really any opportunity for me to come back to them.
