One of the things I love about home schooling is the opportunities that we wouldn't get if we were in a traditional school. This semester Moses and Chesna are the only kids who are truly home schooling, although Nate is home about half the time. They are enrolled in a charter school which provides us with $500 per child for extra curricular activities. I posted earlier about Moses' ice hockey. He's really improving and we're thinking about signing him up for the next one too. We still have a few questions about that. Chesna is getting to go horseback riding. Here is a picture of her and a video. She's riding Comet in the picture, but she's also ridden Rooster and Ruby. She loves it when it's a sunny day and she can take the horse outside for a ride. This has only happened once, but should happen again between now and the end of the school year.
