I woke up often this morning anticipating my 6 am alarm. Finally got up about 5:45 am.
6:00 am - went to the gym without my workout partner and biked 14 miles. Not bad.
7:15 am - breakfast with the troop
8:20 am - bike Miriam to school
8:35 am - begin school with Ches and Mo
12:00 pm - lunch of top ramen
12:30 pm - piano lesson (I brought lattice to clean while the kids were in their lesson)
1:00 pm - trip to the library to pick up our holds and a couple others
1:15 pm - two people said I had great kids, so Moses finally got his Dollar Tree reward - 2 ninja action figures. The other kids got seeds at the nursery yesterday. Miriam chose corn, Nate chose sunflowers, Chesna chose poppies, and I chose strawberries. Can't wait for the garden!
1:40 pm - bike to school to get Miriam
all afternoon - cleaning lattice and assembling it with a couple of breaks to chat with the neighbors. Realized that the height of my lattice exceeds the fence between us and our neighbor by a couple of feet. Is it bad manners to install it? Should I ask the neighbor?
5:30 pm - Mac & Cheese with hot dogs and salsa for dinner, with a Trader Joe's chocolate for dessert
6:15 pm - chore time for the kids.
Is it too much to hope for an early bedtime and a Jane Austen movie?
Weather - partly cloudy, light sprinkles late afternoon
Sprouts - same as yesterday: 5 basil, 1 cilantro, 1 butterfly flower, 9 daisy, 9 oregano, 1 morning glory, 0 columbine.
