I did end up watching Northanger Abbey last night. That movie was a bit strange.
So... did my bike ride this morning, and Chesna came with me. I'm fairly surprised that I've been doing it so regularly without my trainer/encourager. Typically, when Chad's home, the morning goes like this. About 5:55 am, the lights are turned on and I wake up to see Chad ready to go to the gym. Which means I'm already behind. I quickly get dressed and get in the car by 6:05 and off we go, getting just under an hour in at the gym before coming home. But, with my built in alarm clock gone, I have to wake up to the mechanical alarm at 5:30, hit snooze once and hope I don't sleep through the alarm, pull myself out of bed and get dressed. I've been able to accomplish this typically by 5:45, which means I can be at the gym either slightly before 6 or at 6. This gives me a whole hour to bike which means that I can make my 70 mile goal this week with just 5 days at the gym.
Chesna found another Molly baby this morning, so that makes 16. All still alive. Anyone want a Molly fish?
Miriam's school has spirit week this week with today being wacky hair day. Here's a pic of her radiant sun hair do.
Today, Chesna has horseback riding lessons. And tonight we have church. That's all that's on the schedule for today.
It turned out to be a beautiful afternoon, so I worked on putting up the trellis they way my father-in-law suggested. It was so easy! Wish I had thought of it BEFORE I did all the work last week. So now I'm looking for some free horse manure to add to my soil before I plant into it. There are lots of places, just have to be willing to drive and need to do it when I only have 2 kids so I can take the truck. Tomorrow is supposed to be the only sunny day for 10 days. So, maybe I'll have to make a field trip tomorrow with two kids. Here's a picture of the trellis.
