Moses' 6th Birthday & CO trip

So, last year, for Moses' birthday, we were in Colorado. All 6 of us returning from being in Uganda. This year for his birthday, just us parents were going to be in Colorado. We went initially for a golf marathon to raise funds for eMi EA, but we also got to see some good friends Stu Brummet, Josh Hoornbeek, the Bogles, and our eMi family.

Us with the Bogles. 10 seconds just isn't quite enough time for me to get into position, but I tried. We played 3 games of Settlers: Chad won 2 and Bill won 1. Next time, Sharon, is "Girl Power" all the way!

Chad golfing with his golf buddy from the Springs, Bob Smith. Bob is on the far left, his caddy is on the far right, and Chad's putting in the middle. Chad ended up golfing 88 holes before lunch at 12:30 and then finished with 106 holes by 3.

Moses' army man birthday cake reads "Have a Blast Moses!" Chesna thought it was so funny! I think that was funnier than the actual cake.

Here's Moses sad because he had to wait to open his presents. It wasn't all that long of a wait. But to a 6 year old it probably felt like an eternity. We had Moses' birthday the Friday before we left town. So in reality he got to open his presents 2 days early!
