CA State Fair

Next time I get a crazy idea that I think sounds good, someone should warn me about the side effects. So my great idea was taking the kids to free Kid Tuesday with $1 rides. I'm thinking it's a good idea based solely on the financial aspect. Which it was. But the sun (although cooler than the day before it still reached 90o) combined with lots of walking, no close handicap parking (since we had Gram with us we would have made use of it), and 3 kids wanting to go on just one more ride...please!... made it a bit less desirable. Got some great pics to share and enjoyed spending time with my auntie and grandma-in-love.

Chesna, Gram, Aunt Roberta, Miriam and Moses before we entered the park.

Chesna and Jessica rode the zipper together. Jess said she screamed more than Chesna. Chesna said if she had screamed it would have scared her even more. Neither one wanted to ride it again. Pictured below are Jess and Ches in front of the zipper before they rode. Notice the smiles. Afterwards, the smiles weren't so broad.

Moses, Miriam, Jessica, Chesna, and Nana on the swing ride!

Nana and Chesna screaming. I don't think either one was scared, they were just living in the moment!

Another fun ride: Miriam, Moses and Chesna on the spinner!

Nana with Moses and Miriam in front of the Zillerator! I think this is Moses and Miriam's favorite ride. Pictured here is the time Nana went on with them.

Watch out Gram for the Coyote!

You'd never know it, but Aunt Roberta is an avid biker!
