For our 16th anniversary, Chad took me to the North fork of the American River for a hike and a picnic. We stopped for some great blackberry cobbler a la mode on the way home. Then the next morning I surprised him with some pick-up hockey at the local ice rink. It had been at least 7 years since he last played. He was great!
