Some friends of ours invited us to their cul-de-sac to participate in festivities. There was a parade, pie eating contest, popcorn relay, water balloon toss, water relay, swimming, bbq, and fireworks. Moses lost his first tooth in the pie eating contest! Rather a mystery since the pie was mostly whipped cream! Memorable though.
