We took the kids to Humbolt State Park. It's amazing to open your tent flap in the morning and see the sequoia gigantia! We arrived on Wednesday after a 7 hr car ride with a stop and go issue with our transmission. Biked 4 miles on Wed., then another 15 on Thursday. Did tons of geocaching! Then drove back home on Friday with fewer transmission issues! It was amazing that we got all our camping stuff, including our 6 bikes, on / into our van without being cramped. Hot dogs, smores, cereal, and sandwiches! Mmmm!
