From Boxes to Belonging
How long does it take you to settle into a new place! We are just under 3 months in Malaysia and God has been so gracious to us! With our recent commitment to a local church, the last major step of our settling process has been completed. It is pretty easy to unpack when your entire move consists of only 4 boxes (or suitcases in our case), but finding community, which stores sell what items and how to drive on the opposite side of the road tend to take a while longer. While there is still a lot to learn, we are feeling settled and ready for visitors! Come on over and experience this wonderful country for yourself! We already have a few visitors lined up for later this year and early next year, we can't wait for more!
Next week Chad will be returning to the USA for some important meetings regarding our office in India. We are taking a week to pray, strategize and discuss the future of this critical office. Please join us in praying for wisdom, unity and direction.
Instead of returning directly to Malaysia, Chad will make a stop in Egypt for an office visit there. New office space, new staff and new leaders make it an important place to spend some time! He will join the open house and provide some training before returning home. When you fly around the world for work, a brief stop in Egypt is really "on the way". :)
Thank you for your continued prayers and support. We are excited for what God is doing in this season and are eager to share more in the future!

1. Meeting new friends over dinner and games! So grateful for our growing community here in Malaysia. 2. Green hills and cold weather! It is so great to have a relief from the humid climate just a couple hours away! Malaysia is a beautiful country! 3. Shanthi's official school Facebook picture! The staff have been so welcoming! 4. We recently found out that it only takes us about 45 minutes to get to the ocean! 5. Morning bike rides in our neighborhood are so nice! Just have to get used to biking on the other side of the road!
