Fill the Hole! But with what???

In just a couple hours I (Chad) will be departing on my first EMI project trip since arriving in India.  We have been asked by a ministry to help them with their campus water system.  At the existing 5 acre campus they have a hole, actually more like a pit (approximately 50 'x 50' and 35' deep) right in the middle of their campus.  They want to continue to expand their campus and the rumor on the street is that fire suppression systems and rain water catchment systems may be required for the expansion.  Could this pit be used for either of these uses?  Could it also hold a waste water tank?  Should it just be filled in?  Stay tuned, I will know more in a couple days.  I will return on Thursday and we have committed to getting a formal recommendation to the ministry by Christmas.

Please pray for wisdom as I and another EMI volunteer visit this ministry and understand their situation.  Also pray for Shanthi and the kids while I am away.  Thanks!
