We're going back on staff with eMi!
First to India
The first year, we will go to the eMi office in India where they need a civil engineer. There has been a lot of change in the office over the past 6 months and God is asking us to go to encourage and support the current staff. They would like us to be there by mid-August! During this time Chad will lead a few project trips, do civil design, and mentor interns and staff. Shanthi will home school the kids and mentor interns and staff as well. Nathan will finish his high school career with a Calculus 2 course and Mandarin tutoring. Chesna will complete her sophomore and first half of her Junior year. Miriam will finish her 8th grade year. Moses will finish his 6th grade year. Moses, Miriam, and Shanthi will begin to learn Khmer (the language of Cambodia) during their schooling.
After India, we will return to the US for the eMi staff conference in the summer of 2016. During this time we hope to visit as many friends as possible. We'll definitely be in Colorado and California.
Then to Cambodia
After our brief time in the US, we'll head to Cambodia where our first year will be spent in language school, making contacts and establishing the eMi office. By establishing an architectural and engineering office we will be able to hire national design professionals that we can work alongside and mentor. After some time, those national staff may start their own A and E business.
You know where this is going, right?
We have to raise our financial support to join staff with eMi. Living in two different countries and launching two children into college means that our budget is larger than last time. We would ask you to consider being a part of our ministry by giving on a monthly basis. If everyone who receives this newsletter gave $50 per month, we'd be ready to go before our house could get on the market! So, if you are interested, please respond to this email with the amount you would like to give or click on the give button below. We will then be in touch with more information and how to begin giving towards our ministry.
