Moses' Corner Kick

When my dad was gone I did a lot of things. First I memorized all of the countries and their capitals of South East Asia.  Having my dad gone was hard at first but then we did fun things together as a family such as play games, relax with each other, and even Face Time my dad. Finally, we were all excited when Dad came home.  We even worked really hard around the house so he would come home tired but happy also. We had a great time while our dad was gone.
Adventure in Asia

See, Do, Hope:

As I ventured out of the plane into the steamy hot weather of Cambodia, I joined a team of professionals to scout out 5 different cities.  Even though my trip was only a brief 12 days long, we met with 17 people, had three presentations, asked countless questions and received information that was sometimes contradictory.

As we journeyed to Thailand (equally hot and steamy) we continuously prayed and got a general sense of both countries and their need for an eMi office in each area.
Through your prayers, God gave us a great insight, divine appointments, protection, and opportunities to pray with many people.  I appreciate all your prayers for me, my family, and the team while I was gone.

In the next few months the eMi staff will decide where to place the South East Asia office, which will launch in early 2017.
  1. Wisdom as we seek God's direction for our future.
  2. Wisdom for the leadership of eMi to know how to proceed with the eMi office in South East Asia.
  3. Pray that God would raise up a team of people to start the SE Asia eMi office.

Thoughts from the Trip:

"What is excellence in this culture?  Be careful not to define excellence in terms of the West."

"Do I love Jesus or just the idea of loving Jesus?"

"20 years from now you will be more disappointed by the things you didn't do than by the things you did do."  ~Mark Twain

"The greatest need of the church in Cambodia is discipleship and this happens best through working together."
