Would you please pray for us this week? Chad leaves on Monday morning for a short work trip while Shanthi and the kids will remain at home in the Sacramento area. Historically, this separation brings unexpected challenges, so we appreciate your prayers for strength, wisdom and protection.
We are in that season of launching and saying goodbye to our children again. So, after spending a wonderful week with Nathan in Sacramento, we said goodbye to him this past Saturday. In a few days, we launch Miriam to Vanguard University in Southern California and then about a week later, we say goodbye to Chesna who departs to Canada for her senior year at Trinity Western University. With Chad away, Shanthi will be taking care of many of the last day logistics associated with sending kids to college. Please pray for her in the midst of this typical time of frantic packing, last minute shopping and goodbye tears.
Please pray for wisdom for Chad as he meets with many contacts in Mexico and continues to lay groundwork for the newest EMI office. We will not be joining this office, just helping from afar to launch it well. He will be spending this week with others from the EMI leadership team to pray, listen and investigate the possibility of EMI launching an office in such a strategic location. There is already a small team of people on the ground and it appears that there is an open door for EMI's 12th office location to be planted in Ensenada, Mexico!
Lastly, please pray for our children who are starting their own adventures, pray that they would find and contribute to a great community. Thanks for partnering with us and for your prayers!
