1.  Chad was FREEZING in Colorado!
2.  The birthday cake that represents how Chad feels, not his actual age.  We should start a trend!  What would your birthday cake say?
3.  Miriam's kitten scout is enjoying the spiny leaves of a pineapple.  She fits right into our strange family.
4.  Chesna's first snowfall at university!  She's loving it.  Nate also got snow days the beginning of the semester.
5.  Moses' basketball team after their 3rd place win last weekend.
6.  Moses and Miriam were away the same time Chad was in the US. Can you find Moses in this picture?  He's the one with a blindfold on.

All you need is LOVE

for sports

Moses is just finishing up basketball season.  Last weekend Logos won a very intense 3rd place game against NISC. This week soccer practice has started and this weekend will be the last basketball tournament locally.

for school

Shanthi started teaching science and has been asked to fill in for the math teacher at Logos who is out with Dengue Fever.  Dengue has been going around a lot this school year.  Please pray for people who don't have the money to go to the hospital to get treatment. Also, please pray for all of the students who don't know Jesus.

for Khmer professionals

It's so exciting to have 4 Khmer staff and 2 Khmer interns this Spring semester in the office!  These are some amazing people!  Would you please pray for the discipleship that's going on?  Pray that they would learn how to be Christian professionals.  Pray for their families (most don't have Christian parents/siblings).

for our family

One of the hardest parts about living so far from family is that you can't be there with them when they walk through really hard times.  It seems like right now we have so many family members that are going through some really hard things.  Would you please pray for them?  Pray that God would give them peace, wisdom, energy, and perseverance in the struggle.

for the body of Christ

Thank you so much, Harvest family, for loving Chad for the 1 Sunday he was able to be there this month!  You guys are so wonderful.  And to the rest of the body of Christ, you know who you are, thank you for being Christ's hands and feet to us and to others whom you care for.  It is a blessing to be a part of the body of Christ!

When you're hungry, anything is tasty, when you're in love, everything is great

Love finds it hard to make measured judgments. If you are besotted with someone they seem perfect to you in every way, just as dry bread and water would seem like a feast to a starving man.
Miriam's Massages (or was that messages?)

You know that kids say the darnedest things.  Here you will get a few funny quotes from our kids.
  • Chad's been having some back problems and Miriam told him, "You should go to a professional cracker."  Would you call him Mr. Ritz?

  • "CarMax is really bad for your lips.  They add extra chemicals to make our lips even more chapped so you have to buy more product."  Can anyone who works at CarMax verify this slanderous comment?

  • "If heaven smells like anything, it smells like Korean noodles." Yum!  Can't wait!

  • "I'm actually tired of getting awards." ~Miriam
