Placer County Fair

Nathan and Chesna both entered some of their work in the Placer County Fair.  Chesna got first place on her animal photo, 2nd on her portrait, 1st on her collage.  Nathan got first on his Haiku.

Haikus are sometimes

Joyful, playful or even

A few times, funny

Haikus might be lame,

They might even be boring!

But they’re what they are.

They might inform you,

Like this one is so doing

Or be business-like.

But most of the time

They tell you of a story,

So beautifully.
