Chesna turns 11!

So Chesna's birthday party this past weekend was a lot of fun!  She had 3 girls come spend the night.  They played several games.  We laughed.  We used a mystery theme for many of the games.

The very large magnifying glass cake we made.  It was really good!  Chad let us have some for breakfast the following morning.  Yum!

We played a spin the nail polish game where a girl picked a color and spun the bottle.  Whom ever it pointed to had to pick a nail and paint it that color.  Then she got to pick another color and spin that bottle.  One girl got all 10 fingernails painted before another girl had even 3 finished.  In the end, their nails looked like a beautiful rainbow!

The aluminum dress with the fashion glasses!

Detective Chesna is looking for clues!

I was a little scatterbrained and didn't get birthday cake candles, so we improvised with taper candles.  Ches LOVED it!

I'm still finding it crazy that Chesna is 11! I remember her so young while in Uganda! Such a beautiful girl you have there!
