Gamble's Newsletter Visas in Hand, Tickets Confirmed!

Shanthi, Nathan and Chesna made it off this morning and as I write this they should be on the Tube in London making their way to a friends house. Also as I write this, Miriam and Moses’ passports with US immigrant visas are sitting on my lap (I don’t know if I will let them out of my sight until we clear immigration in the US)! I went to pick up the visas from the US Embassy today and had absolutely no problems. I also have in my e-mail inbox confirmed tickets for me, Miriam and Moses to fly out on Friday morning. So, all has come together and the end of our time in Uganda finally seems to be coming to a close. Certainly not the way we had planned or expected, but tomorrow will be my last full day in Uganda – it will be bittersweet. Thank you for all the prayers and encouragement as we have gone through this process of adopting and heading back to Uganda. Thank you for standing with us for the last 6 years that we have spent in Uganda. God has done many things in and through us, some of which we will not even know until later.
